Work and Study in Canada Program ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการจะได้เรียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงธุรกิจ และการสื่อสารเกี่ยวกับงานด้าน Hospitality แผนกต้อนรับ พร้อมทั้งได้ฝึกประสบการณ์การทำงานในโรงแรมหรือร้านอาหารในสถานที่จริง โดยผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการจะได้รับค่าตอบแทน ตั้งแต่ $8 - $12 / ชั่วโมง โดยเฉลี่ยจะได้ทำงานประมาณ 20 – 30 ชั่วโมง / สัปดาห์ ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการจะได้เรียนและฝึกงานใน เมือง Vancouver และ Toronto เป็นโครงการที่เปิดโอกาสให้คนไทยได้ทำงานในประเทศแคนาดา ซึ่งโดยปกติต่างชาติไม่สามารถทำงานได้ในขณะพำนักอยู่ในประเทศแคนาดา แต่โครงการนี้เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการได้ทำงานและเรียนไปพร้อมๆ กัน

                         

          ในช่วงแรก ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการจะได้เรียนภาษา ESL ในสาขา Hospitality ในภาคปกติ ในขณะที่เรียนผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการจะได้รับโอกาสเพื่อสนัสบสนุนให้ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการได้มีโอกาสเข้าสัมภาษณ์งานที่เหมาะสมกับผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการ ในช่วง 3 เดือนแรกของโปรแกรมจะต้องเรียนในภาคปกติ และ หลังจากนั้น ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการจะได้ทำงานเต็มเวลา 20 – 30 ชั่วโมง / สัปดาห์ และสามารถเรียนได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งจะได้เรียนเป็น Part – time โดยเฉลี่ย 12 ชั่วโมง / สัปดาห์

Sandwich program: เป็นคอร์สระยะยาวเหมาะสำหรับผู้ที่ต้องการทำงานด้านโรงแรมและรีสอร์ทโดยตรง ซึ่งคุณต้องลงคอร์สเรียนจำนวน 24 สัปดาห์ และทำงานอีก 24 สัปดาห์ คอร์สนี้คุณจะได้เรียนในช่วง Spring and Fall Season (ตรงกับเดือนกุมภาพันธ์และเดือนกันยายน) และเริ่มทำงานในช่วง Summer and Winter Season (ตรงกับเดือนพฤษภาคม และเดือนธันวาคม) เนื่องจากเป็นช่วงฤดูที่มีงานเยอะที่สุด

Hospitality & Tourism    

           For those wanting to enter or further their experience in one of Canada’s fastest growing industries. Most positions are in hotels & resorts in Canada’s tourism communities. Approximately $8 – $12 per hour, 30 – 35 hours per week at hotels & resorts in Canada’s resort communities.Positions include Back of House, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Maintenance, Guest Services and Retail. Placement includes subsidised staff ccommodation sharing with 1 or 2 other people for $300 - $550 per month and up to 14 hours travel may be required to the resort community.ition Minimum program length Min. Study + Sales & Retail

          For those wanting to enter or further their experience in restaurants and retail outlets in busy Metropolitan Centers. Approximately $8- $10 per hour, 25 – 30 hours per week at café’s restaurants and retail outlets in Vancouver or Toronto. Positions include retail assistants, café assistants, café servers, kitchen staff, restaurant & bar staff. Staff accommodation is not included.

VISA Student Permit   Study  & Work  in Canada

Student Permit with a Work Permit with a C30 Exemption
If you wish to participate in a program with a work or internship component and are ineligible to apply for a Working Holiday visa, you will be required to apply for a Student Permit with a C30 Exemption Work Permit (Co-op Visa). Be sure to inform us at the time of your enrollment so that we can prepare a Specialized Letter of Acceptance for Internship/Work& Study Students so you can begin the application process in your home country. Once you receive your Study and Work Authorization letter from the Canadian visa office in your country you are ready to travel to Canada.

At the Point of Entry in Canada
At the port of entry (arrival airport in Canada), you must show the Customs Officer the Study and Work Authorization letter and request both the Student Permit and Work Permit with the  C30 exemption. If the officer at the border asks you to explain the program details, show the officer the specialized Letter of Acceptance for Internship & Study or Work & Study students that ILAC or Internex Canada has provided you. Students who do not receive the work permit at the port of entry will be required to retrieve the correct permit within Canada from the Canadian Immigration office in Vegreville, Alberta. ILAC or Internex Canada cannot guarantee that students will receive the C-30 Co-op visa as this decision is made at the discretion of Canadian Immigration officials.

Internship & Study and Work & Study Programs
The Internship & Study program is non-paid whereas students participating in the Work & Study component are paid entry level wages. If you are applying for a study permit and work permit with a C30 exemption, these placements must not be more than 50% of your total program. Furthermore, these placements are relevant to your program of study and additional assignments must be completed while outside of the classroom. Students enrolled in Internship & Study or Work & Study must meet minimum language requirements and have the correct study permits. The ILAC or Internex Canada Admissions Officer or a qualified ILAC or Internex  Canada Partner will review your application and inform you of the required qualifications and program requirements. You can determine your approximate English level through the ILAC  Online English Test.
