o สวัสดีค่ะ ชื่อ พี่ผึ้ง เข้าร่วมโครงการ internship ปี 2011 ได้มีโอกาสไปทำงานที่ The Eliot Hotel ใน Boston ตำแหน่ง Food & Beverage รัฐ Massachusetts USA เมืองนี้เป็นเมืองที่เด็กนักเรียนอยากมาเรียนมากและก็มีมหาลัยดังๆหลายสถาบัน พอพี่เรียนจบแล้วก็อยากฝึกภาษาให้เก่งเลยมาสมัครโครงการนี้ เพราะปัจจุบันภาษาอังกฤษมีความสำคัญมาก พอมาถึงเราก็เริ่มทำงาน ช่วงแรกรู้สึกเหนื่อยมากเพราะต้องปรับตัวกับสภาพอากาศ ตอนมาถึงแรกๆค่อนอากาศข้างหนาวมาก ต้องใส่เสื่อตั้งหลายชั้นแล้วก็ต้องตื่นเช้าไปทำงาน ที่ Boston ถือว่าเป็นเมืองที่มี public transportation ดีมาก จะไปที่ไหนก็ขึ้นรถไฟ การเดินทางก็สะดวก พอเริ่มทำงานเพื่อนๆรวมงานก็ต้อนรับเรา ได้รู้จักกับเพื่อนใหม่เยอะ ทำให้เราได้ฝึกพูดภาษาอังกฤษเยอะขึ้น การทำงานในโรงแรมเราต้องตรงต่อเวลามากๆ ซึ่งฝึกให้เราเป็นคนตรงต่อเวลา และเวลาเราพูดกับรู้ค้าทำให้เรารู้จักแก้ไขปัญหาเฉพาะหน้าได้เป็นอย่างดี รู้ว่าที่นี่เค้ามีการทำงานที่เป็นระบบ และตรงต่อเวลามากๆ ทำให้เราได้ฝึกฝนให้เป็นคนตรงต่อเวลามากขึ้นด้วย รู้จักแก้ไขปัญหาเฉพาะหน้า o พี่หวังว่าน้องๆที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ internship จะให้น้องๆได้ประสบการดีๆกลับไปนะคะ

first of all I need to say sorry that I didn't write back to you. Hope you are fine. I am doing great here. The time goes very fast, I can not belive that I am here already 2 months. I really like and enjoy the life here. I have a very simple life here on the mountain, if you don't go out or don't go to the town then you can live without money here. We have 3 free meals and free housing. For the housing you can chose, Bay or Blue Ridge: Bay, you live by yourself, no roommate, no toilet inside. Blue Ridge, you have roommate , toilet inside the room and also window, that where I live. I have 2 roommates , one is from Peru and one from USA. I really like Blue Ridge, because most of people who live there are 19-25 years old. We have a lot of fun and always have party. I work at the Front Desk, I have to say, it 's wonderful and I really like it. I normally work AM and PM shift (7-3.30 on Am shift and 3-11.30 PM shift and some time I do Income Audit from 3.30-12.00 ) Now I am comfortable to work at the Front Desk, like answer all the call, Check In-Out Guest, make reservation...etc. The people who work here are very nice and I meet Guests from every where. We have 21 work snd travel but they gonna go back next week, that make us here very sad. We have a lot of fun together. I work 5 days a week and on my dayoff , you never find me in the room:-) I always join staff trip to every where and some time my friends from work drive me to Denver or to the town. I did many activites in side the Ranch, like if I work AM after work I always play ping pong, volleyball, mini golf or go to swim ... with other employee or guest.

ประสบการณ์ต่างแดน..กับโครงการ "Internship Training Program"
Chalermraj Chaimongkolchi คือชื่อของผมหรือเรียกผมว่า Kim จบการศึกษาจาก Assumption University ขณะนี้กำลังเข้าร่วมโครงการ Internship ที่อเมริกาครับผม
พูดกันอย่างตรงไปตรงมาสำหรับโครงการ Internship Training Program ถือเป็นหนึ่งโครงการที่ดีสำหรับการเก็บเกี่ยวประสบการณ์ในต่างประเทศ และเมื่อถามว่าเราเก็บเกี่ยวอะไร อันนี้ก็ขึ้นอยู่กับแต่ละบุคคลว่าจุดมุ่งหมายคืออะไร ตั้งความหวังอะไรไว้ เพราะทุกอย่างที่นี่แตกต่างกับประเทศบ้านเราแทบจะทุกอย่าง ไม่ว่าจะเป็น อาหารการกิน ภาษา การสื่อสาร วัฒนธรรมการแต่งกาย ความคิด และการทำงานกับคนอื่นๆ ทั้งนี้ไม่รวมถึงเพื่อนทำงานจากประเทศอื่นๆ ซึ่งอาจจะต้องใช้เวลาปรับตัวบ้างสำหรับคนที่ใหม่เลยจริงๆ
First of all, let's me introduce myself, my name is Kong. I graduated from Assumption University, major in Hotel Management, minor in English. After that I worked at Le Meridien Hotel Bangkok for 10 months then I had a chance to go working aboard for a year with Marriott Fairfax hotel. I will inform you in areas of working place, friends and accommodation as belows;
First: Working place : Nowsaday, I worked in Oke grille restaurant, F&B department at Marriott Fairfax hotel for one and a half month. Everything is going well. Marriott Fairfax is a middle hotel but we have professional associates to work with. They though me about theoritical and pratical as well since intermediate to advance level. In addition, I can learn Marriott standards which is served the guests around the world. That can improve me to be professional.
Second : Friends : there are many intern students approximately 30 people who came from differnce countries, cultures and living standards but we have to stay in same home. There are 6 people in my home including JD&Aruj from India, Macro from Italy, James from Turkey,Gasper from Transania and me from Thailand. Unbelieve!!! that we can stay together without any problems. When someone in my home has a problem, we try to solve together. That factor made us become close friends.
Third : Accommodations : Each home composes with 3 bedrooms, 2 restrooms, kitchen, TV, Wireless, Refrigerator, Washing & Dry machine, Furnitures, pool and gym are provided. A rental fee is depend on how many people in a home or how size of a home? It costs about $290/mth, that is not expensive when compare with the revenue. Moreover, a home is not far from the hotel so I can go to work by walk.
These are the main factors for intern students which include working place, friends and accommodations. Believe in Worantex : Open your mind to learn, survive and have fun.
